Management, Leadership & Administration This course explores the principles, procedures and practices of effective management, leadership, and administration in educational settings. Topics discussed include management, educational management, administration and educational administration, school governance and policy development, authority, discipline and school climate. The rest are human resource management in schools, financial management and resource allocation, leadership, and school records and communication in the school system. The course is designed to equip future school leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to manage schools efficiently, lead with vision and create an inclusive and equitable learning environment. Cross-cutting issues such as Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI), 21st-century skills, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), inclusivity, and national core values are integrated throughout the course to prepare students for leadership roles in a diverse and dynamic educational landscape through a combination of theoretical and practical approaches. Students will engage with critical issues in school management, administration and leadership, aligning with the National Teaching Standards and integrating essential cross-cutting issues such as GESI, SEL, inclusivity, and national core values.
