Course Description
This course re-enforces the basic issue dealt with in Modern English Structure and Usage (MESU)1. It is indented to usher students into the concept of the phrase, the clause and the ways of coordinating phrases and subordinating clauses. The course will also pay attention to the functions of the phrase, modality, voicing (mood), the English tense and aspect and their overall effects on communication.
